These Terms of Use govern your use of Umrah & Hajj Companion on iOS and Android. The app is developed by Lumina Dev.
1. Purpose of the App
Umrah & Hajj Companion provides offline-friendly pilgrimage support tools, including ritual guidance, Tawaf and Sa’i counters, du’a content, checklists, maps, saved places, Qibla, emergency contacts, group safety details, meeting point sharing, privacy links, and optional support purchases.
2. Informational Use Only
The app is a practical companion tool. It does not provide religious rulings, legal advice, medical advice, emergency response, guaranteed travel instructions, or official government guidance. You remain responsible for confirming official guidance, local rules, religious questions, health and safety needs, and instructions from your group leaders, guides, authorities, or qualified scholars.
3. Maps, Location, Qibla, and Sharing
Maps, location, Qibla direction, route links, saved pins, and shared meeting point information may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or affected by device sensors, GPS, network availability, map provider data, or local conditions. Use them as aids, not as guaranteed navigation or safety systems.
4. Offline Content
Offline content and downloaded map packs are provided for convenience. Availability may depend on your device, storage, operating system, permissions, previous downloads, and third-party map resources.
5. Your Information
You are responsible for emergency contacts, saved places, meeting points, medical notes, group details, checklists, notes, and other information you enter or share through the app.
6. Purchases and Support Features
The app may offer purchases such as ad removal or optional support light items. Purchases are handled through app store systems and are subject to the store’s terms. Support target choices are preference signals for how a giving portion may be allocated; they are not direct donations made in your name unless explicitly stated.
7. Advertising
The app may display ads on Home and Map. Ads are provided by third-party advertising services and do not imply endorsement by Lumina Dev.
8. Analytics and Crash Reporting
Android builds may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to measure broad app usage, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability. These services are provided by Google and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, disrupt services, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, use the app unlawfully, or interfere with third-party services.
10. Intellectual Property
The app’s code, design, branding, and bundled content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise noted.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumina Dev will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses related to travel disruption, missed ritual steps, map or Qibla inaccuracy, connectivity loss, purchase platform issues, emergency conditions, or reliance on app content.
13. Changes
We may update the app, change features, or revise these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
